There is no fixed formula here. Each session is a collaboration between tutor and pupil, shaped by what they need that day and guided by a general rhythm of review, new learning and a hands-on activity to bring it all together.

Whatever the homework, we can help! Our studio is filled with interactive, visual and immersive tools to support every learner. We are here to help, and our priority is always to support, encourage and build independence.

With their teacher's agreement, we will get in touch to find out what will be covered the following week, so we can get ahead and ensure your child feels prepared and ready to take on a new topic.

We always work from a thorough checklist to make sure everything is covered. We explain, practise together, and then let your child try independently. Where possible, we use games and interactive activities to review and consolidate what we have covered.

If a student is falling behind in any subject, we will build a structured plan tailored to their specific needs, focusing on closing foundational gaps, boosting confidence and developing independent learning skills.

Whether it is to prepare for the DELF, follow the school curriculum, or learn how to order a croissant et un café pour maman, we can help! We are a bilingual tuition hub supporting students from Key Stage 1 through to A-Level.

How our Sessions Work
No two learners are the same, and no two sessions are either. That said, most sessions follow a natural rhythm: we begin with a review of previous learning, move into something new, and where time allows, we close with a game or interactive activity to consolidate it all. Calm, purposeful and always personalised.
We offer private tutoring in Fulham across a wide range of subjects including English, French, Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, for both the British and French curriculum. We also offer specialist exam preparation for 7+, 10+, 11+, GCSE, A-Level, DELF, Brevet and Baccalauréat, always tailored to the individual student.
Our Session Types
The most personalised experience we offer. Every minute of the session is dedicated entirely to the pupil, their pace, their questions, their goals.
1:1 Tutoring :
Two students from the same class, learning together at a reduced rate. A great option for friends who share the same curriculum, where the dynamic of learning alongside a peer adds an extra layer of motivation and fun.

Wednesday Pick-up, Lunch & Afternoon at The Study Studio
Every Wednesday, we take care of the whole afternoon. Our Walking Bus collects your student from school, brings them to the studio for a delicious and healthy lunch prepared by our in-house café, and settles them in for a productive and enjoyable work session. Homework, exam prep, academic skills, whatever they need, we are here. A full, nurturing afternoon from school gate to session end, right in the heart of Fulham.

Our tutors, Frede, Laurine and Myriam, bring a wealth of qualifications, experience and genuine warmth to every session, including safeguarding credentials and a deep knowledge of both British and French curricula. Between them, they cover the full breadth of subjects from English and French literacy to Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

My daughter attends a French school but speaks mostly English at home. When she started Reception, she was struggling a little with both French and reading, which is when we asked Frédérique to support her. It has now been five years, and the experience has been truly wonderful. Frédérique is patient, understanding, and always works closely with the school curriculum. Over the years, Frédérique has become much more than a tutor, she feels like part of our family. She has been an absolute treasure to us, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
A beautiful, calm, and bright place. The tutors are caring, highly competent, and know how to adapt their approach to the needs of each child or teenager. The tutoring is personalized and of high quality. The facility also offers a dining area for breakfast and dinner. And while our child is being supervised, we can even enjoy a Pilates class. An excellent experience that I highly recommend!
Freddie is the perfect tutor for our two girls, she couldn't be better suited. The girls are enjoying their weekly classes and the homework she sets is a great mix of revision, exercises to challenge them and fun interactive games to really allow them the chance to understand the tasks and subject.
Fred has been our son's tutor since he was 9 years old, 4 years now, working with him 2 to 3 times a week. My son attends the Lycée Français and is dyslexic, and Fred has been excellent, patient, and consistently able to adapt her methods to his specific needs. As a result, he has made real progress across every subject she covered with him {...}. What stands out most is that the sessions are never a burden for him. He is always genuinely happy to attend, even the early morning sessions before school. That consistency, over four years, speaks for itself.

We adore Freddie at The Study Studio, and our boys do too, which still amazes me for tutoring. She has such a gentle, warm way with them, and her whole approach is built around real learning rather than drilling. The children genuinely don’t realise they’re being taught.
